Parenting Program: Building Awesome Whanau

If you're looking after tamariki, Building Awesome Whanau can help you become an awesome parent, grandparent, or caregiver - even more awesome than you already are! Whether you are already a super-parent or one who is struggling, Building Awesome Whanau will give you lots of good ideas.

There are 7 sessions with a small group of other parents and a friendly facilitator. No tests, no judgement, no boring bits - just lots of fun and useful stuff!

Date & Time: Tuesday mornings from 9.30am - 11.30am

Youth Program: Mana Rangatahi

This is a program designed for Youth Development in the Tamaki area. The program consists of 8-10 sessions for youth aged 10-14 years. Youth are picked up and dropped off for each session and dinner will be provided.

Date & Time: Friday nights from 4.30pm - 7.30pm

Men's Program: Oho Tu Tangata

A 6-8 week Men's anger management program built on Te Ao Maori principles that enhance the wellbeing of all.

Date & Time: Tuesday nights from 6.00pm - 9.00pm

Dads Program: Just for Dads

A weekly program designed to support Dads or just for those who want to "hang out" with other Dads.

Date & Time: Wednesday nights from 6.00pm - 9.00pm

Senior's Program

A senior's program was developed to provide weekly activities for the elderly.

Date & Time: Friday mornings from 10.00am - 2.30pm
Location: Various locations


Glen Innes Family Centre is a not for profit community agency and volunteers are always welcome. If you want to be a volunteer, please ring the Centre for more information.
